TÕ YÕ
Born out of the Far Eastern underground scene, Tō Yō is undoubtedly a next-generation psychedelic rock band. Their organic band sound and rhythms are rooted in the chaotic, genre-defying Tokyo underground, always driven by a mindset that embraces constant on-stage experimentation.
During their European tours in 2024 and 2025, they stunned audiences at historic rock festivals such as SonicBlast Fest and Freak Valley Festival, while also sparking spontaneous “trips” at countless night events across various cities.
Their music exists as a psychedelic outpost—stretching from humid, doomy heaviness to breezy, krautrock-inspired grooves. They reject nothing, absorb everything, and melt it all through a psychedelic lens. This all-embracing approach isn’t just their strength—it’s their only mentality.
In the fall of 2026, they are set to release their long-awaited second studio album, their 3rd in three years. With growing attention, Tō Yō’s ever-evolving sound continues to mesmerize listeners, never failing to captivate.
