Monde UFO began as Ray Monde’s solo project in a downtown LA warehouse, crafting dreamy, jazz-tinged psych folk with an old church organ and a four-track cassette recorder. After teaming up with visual artist Kris Chau—who brought singing bowls, ambient vibes, and a non-musician’s raw creativity—the duo shaped a sound somewhere between Don Cherry and Yo La Tengo.
Now joined by drummer Kern Haug and signed to Fire Records, Monde UFO continues to evolve with their unique blend of lo-fi meditation and cosmic jazz.
