some of their tracks are straight up jokes/piss takes others aren't its a deliberately blurry line of irony if that makes sense? and so the marketing is also blurry like cute kids vibes but also its not a kids band at all if that makes sense? like life is really funny and fun but also serious and not fun aswell, its blurry and so so is this?

Do you remember alcopops - those nasty and cheap alcoholic mixed drinks from your youth that gave you your first high? That's what the music of VORSICHT KINDER sounds like and that's how they claim their own music genre: the alcopop.

VORSICHT KINDER are four friends from Berlin who released their debut album Verschluck dich nicht in 2023 on the Berlin-based label Kitchen Leg Records. Their sound is described as an eclectic mix of post-punk, no-wave, and Neue Deutsche Welle, playfully breaking genre boundaries and conventional song structures. It’s like Tic Tac Toe picked up some instruments and went on a wild mushroom trip. On stage, they regularly swap instruments, and in their dadaist-feminist lyrics, they explore themes like lust, rage, ecstasy, and senselessness: Fuck the Banana!
