Hatching out of the underground DIY punk scene in Los Angeles, California, Big Fun has assembled a noisy, hard-hitting, electronic sound that zig-zags through techno, hardcore, and dance punk. They are known for their mind-bending and powerful live performances as well as their groundbreaking, atmospheric recordings.

In the shadow of the prefabricated buildings in the central German province between Halle and Berlin, the quartet plays loud and sweaty psychedelic fuzz rock. Guitars, driving synths, sometimes garnished with a sweet West Coast melody, sometimes with the noise crowbar. A band that brings styles together, emulates role models and yet has its own sound and sounds different. Here, garage rock is mixed with psychedelia, and post-punk, krautrock and electronica are tried out.
